The Autumn Statement will be delivered on Wednesday, 3 December 2014.
Chancellor George Osborne announced the date during Treasury questions in the House of Commons today (2 September).
Mr Osborne may use the statement, which comes six months before the general election, to give more details around tax issues, including the expected gains or losses to the Treasury from the freedom and choice in pensions policy, to be implemented next April.
As always Taxbriefs will publish a full summary report to ensure that you can give your clients a fast and accurate update.
In addition to the traditional summary, this year Taxbriefs will be producing a Key Points document within hours of the speech’s conclusion. Book by the end of September to receive the Key Points at no extra cost!
